This is a Google Drawing of my maths task I had to complete.  It is about telling you about Millions, Thousands, Hundred, and ones. There on my Google Drawing is a number, around it is the types of Millions and Thousands ect.  At the top is a number house that is where all the numbers are out into and you can see if its a thousand, hundred millions ect.  Hope you enjoy.

Cut away: A cut away is when a picture of a building is cut on one side.  It is done so that you can see the inside.

Title: A title can tell a lot about the book and what might be inside.

Index: An Index is an alphabetical list of names and subjects.  It tells you what page number to go to.

Caption: A cation is a text that is under or beside a picture.

Sidebar: A sidebar is a section of text that appears on the side of the the page which tells us some information

Today I learnt how to do skimming and scanning.  I was working with Inotia and Mishaan.

My chosen book from the library

 

This is a fiction book about dinosaurs and adventure.  I choose this book because the cover was eye catching and when I read the blurb it sounded very interesting and my kind of book I would want to read.
