Today I worked with Sylis and Angari on our 10 times table DLO. The reason for us doing the 10 times tables is so we could grow stronger and be able to memorise them and answer without thinking.
I love to see that you are practicing your 10 times tables. I especially liked to see that you were practicing them in English and in Tongan. I recently came back from a week in Tonga and had a wonderful time! I stayed at the Vakaloa Beach Resort and really enjoyed it. The water was so blue and there were whales swimming just a few metres from the beach where we were standing. It was amazing!
I am now back in Auckland and spending time commenting on blogs that have been posted by students involved in the Summer Learning Journey programme. I see that you've registered for the programme and I'd love it if you chose to get involved. To participate you simply have to copy and paste this url into your search bar(https://sites.google.com/site/summerlearningjourney/home-1) and click on the 'Weekly Activities' tab. There are different activities posted each day. You can do as many as you want to and each time you complete an activity and blog about it you will earn points.
Please consider joining our journey. I'll check back in to see if you've joined us later in the week.
In the meantime, I hope that you have a great start to 2016.
My name is Rachel and I am running the Winter Learning Journey programme this holiday. We are having a great time blogging and I really hope that you will consider joining us. It's really easy and fun :)
To join, all you have to do is log onto the Winter Learning website, click on the "Weekly Activities" tab, scroll down and choose an activity that interests you. You then blog about it on your blog site and I will read it, comment and give you points. You'll earn a certificate and a badge and, if you one of the 'Top 3 bloggers' you will also earn a great prize at the end of the holiday!
I'll check back in a couple of days to see if you've chosen to take up the challenge and join the Winter Learning Journey programme.
Good morning Jasmine!
