Today we were given an idiom and we had to find out what it literally meant and what it meant in idiom. I was given On the ball.  It means to stay focused and attentive.

Opal

Today for reading we had to find out what these gemstones mean, how they are made, where you can find them, and if you can make them.  The gemstones are Topazs, Amethust, Diamond, Emerald, Lapis - Lazuh and Opal.  I had to choose one of these gems.  I found out that 95% of Opals come from Australia.  Hope you enjoy.

Today I read a article about a man named Sven Sachsalber.  He is trying to do the impossible.  Find a Needle in a haystack.  Most people think it is impossible, but for the artist he says its going to be a fun and hard task.

Perimeter and Area

 

 Today I made a Google drawing for maths.  For maths we had to figure out what the perimeter of my fox was and what the Area was.  As you can you see on my fox I have on my area 63 squares.  For my perimeter I had 40 lines.
