Anzac Day
If I was a man in the trenches
If I was a man in the trenches I would think what am I doing here. But also writing to my loved ones. I think of trenches as a cold dark place with nowhere to go. You can also hear you mates being shot and bombs being dropped. Life in the trenches must have been very scary and life threatening.

Our visit to the Panmure Library
Our visit to the Panmure Library
Today we went and visited the Panmure Library with my sister Elaine and Mrs Thomas. There, we learnt all about two tribes. When we got there we then had to be split into two groups and that were the two tribes. The story was about the two tribes and that they were all unable to hunt in the daytime because they all had pale eyes. But in the nighttime they would come to the near by river that separate the two tribes. One day the son of the north tribe Djae decided to go fishing. But on the other side of the river where the south tribe. The daughter of the Chef Jasmine decided to go fishing as well, but they both forgot one thing there hocks. So they hopped into the river and started to catch some fish for their tribes then suddenly, Djae saw Jasmine swimming and gasped and shouted “Hey girl do you want to marry me. Do you want to come home with me and meet my family.” “Yes” shouted Jasmine. So the Jasmine went back to the north. Then but then someone had saw that she had gone with Djae they told the Chef her mother and she was very mad and she said to her warriors
to fight for their daughter. But on the other side of the river they had a wise wizard and said that they will attack us for their daughter but the Chef said “ We will fight to defend Jasmine." Then suddenly the ground shock and then a voice was heard " why are you fighting" said the voice it was the grudging of the volcano. "You have woke me from my sleep so I will shake the ground more " said the voice and then a mountain broke out and was the name of mount wellington. So when the story was over we got to get some clay and we had a necklaces and molded it in the clay

My I am as Poem
I am as…
I am as tall as a giraffe munching on the crunchy
leaves
I am as happy as a bird tweeting in the trees
I am as kind as a dog bugging for a treat
I am as quiet as a book worm reading in the night
I am as gentle as a peaceful giant walking in the night
I am as wild as a fraliking horse galping through the planes
Put it all together,
and you’ve got Jasmine !

Yesterday we wrote instructions to how to annoy the teacher. Here are my instructions. We learned to write instructions in a list and start each idea with a bossy verb.
How to annoy the teacher
- Tap your feet on the floor.
- Wiggle on the spot with your knees.
- Talk when the teacher is giving out information
- Copy what the teacher says
- Fiddle with a pencil on the mat when the teacher is talking.
- Stand up and sing out loud at S.S.R time
- Get ready to get out!

Excuses for being late for school
Excuses for being late for school
- My dog ate my homework.
- A dinosaur ate my alarm clock.
- I was awake because my mum was dancing.
- Someone came and turned off my alarm clock.
- An evil witch came and stole my mum and dad and I needed to go and save them.
- Mum and Dad were shouting at the rugby game and telling the players want to do.
- I had a bad dream and stayed up all night.
- I had a party and was up all night long dancing.
- My mum didn’t wake me up on time.
- Mum said to me to go with her to the mountain.
- My dog came and licked my face in the middle of the night.
- I was watching T.V all night.
- I was playing games all night.
- I slept late last night
My Purple Poem
My purple poem
Purple is delight
Purple is the sight of fresh grapes.
Purple is the sound of the wind brushing over ripe plums.
Purple is the taste of plum pie in the winter.
Purple is the smell of smashed grapes in the picking season.
