10 times tables

Today I worked with Sylis and Angari on our 10 times table DLO.  The reason for us doing the 10 times tables is so we could grow stronger and be able to memorise them and answer without thinking.

Face painter

Today I tried the Face painter: locating faces and Face painter: predicting faces.  I learnt how to predict faces on 3D shapes, on the first Face painter: locating faces I had to find all the faces on the 3D shape.  Then the second one I had do the same but I had to say how many of each shape I thought was on that shape.

I needed to solve this problem 18+8=?

These are the 2 ways me and my partner (Angari) did to solve the problem.

The answer came out as 26.  

Written Strategy

Today I did a show me and I had to show how to solve a multiplication equation using the written Strategy.

This is a Google Drawing of my maths task I had to complete.  It is about telling you about Millions, Thousands, Hundred, and ones. 5 things I have achieved this year

Today we had to make a Google drawing explaining what we have achieved at school this year.  I have a variate of thing that I have achieved this year.  

Perimeter and Area

 

 Today I made a Google drawing for maths.  For maths we had to figure out what the perimeter of my fox was and what the Area was.  As you can you see on my fox I have on my area 63 squares.  For my perimeter I had 40 lines.

Problem solving

Today for maths we had two question.  Those two question we had to solve.  We had to explain how we got our answer and how we solved it.  Hope you enjoy.

Animal Kingdom

Today I did my last measurement tic tac toe activity and this activity was called Animal Kingdom. I had to choose 5 images of animals that are taller than me and 5 images of animals that were shorter than me. I hope you enjoy.

How far?

 Today I did this active called How far? We had to choose five places and use Google maps to see how far in km our detestation was. Hope you Enjoy.

How long is my foot?

 Today for maths we had to choose 3 actives to do and today I did the How long is my foot? active. For this active I had to estimate (guess) how long my foot was and measure and see my results.

Today I was playing the game called Mathmath  from this game I learnt about place value it throws you a place value question and and you have to eat pac man with the answers. This game helped me to get better at place value and improve my skill of place value.
