Deltora Quest: The Forest of Silence

Today I made a Google Presentation reviewing a book that my class read.  It is about Deltora and how Lief (Jarred's son in the story) and his companion Barda (Min's Son Min is the nursemaid that looked after Jarred and Endon)  Go on a journey to find the 7 gemstones.

Opal

Today for reading we had to find out what these gemstones mean, how they are made, where you can find them, and if you can make them.  The gemstones are Topazs, Amethust, Diamond, Emerald, Lapis - Lazuh and Opal.  I had to choose one of these gems.  I found out that 95% of Opals come from Australia.  Hope you enjoy.

Today for reading I did a active called Robot Challenge. We had to create a go animate and imagine that we had a robot and what we got up to. In my video the character is asleep and is dreaming, then the robot comes in and they decide to do all sorts of things before she woke up again, when her sister came and checked on me.

Coral reefs

 This week I was learning about coral reefs and how engendered they were.  Here are 5 facts that I found out.

• Coral reefs are mostly called "the forest of the sea"
• Most of the beautiful coral we know now is said they will disappear.
• Coral reefs are actually not rocks like everyone thought they were but they are live and breathing creatures.
• scientist are trying to find a satiation to solve the disappearing coral reefs
• Hundreds of different types of fish and other creatures
