Today I had to make a Google presentation.  My presentation is about 25 things I want to do in my life.  For example, visit the Eiffel Tower in Pairs or climb Mount Everest.  For my background I made a tiled picture background that I did from scratch.   I hope you Enjoy my Presentation.

Today my partner and I wrote a paragraph about our favorite food, we choose pizza.  Then we turned our piece of writing and put it into a presentation.

Recount with a twist

It was early morning and my family and I were getting ready to go to my cousin Sabrina’s birthday, she was turning 21 (even though she is 22, we were reliving her birthday because she missed it last year. Somehow 21st birthdays are really important). So as we made our way to the stadium, my heart was jumping with excitement wondering what Sabrina look like and how happy she would be.  When we arrived as we waited for everyone to turn up I saw for a long time that my dad was so happy I’d haven’t seen that face for a long long time and when I mean long time I mean long time anyway back to the story. When Sabrina showed up she was wearing a beautiful long white dress with heart stitching. As the day went on and night came then out of nowhere the cake rose up and started to walk toward Sabrina she was still really shocked and just about where the lino ended was the cake dripping starring Sabrina straight in the eye, just when the cake was about to jump at Sabrina out came a knight in armor out of nowhere really. They fought throughout the night but of course the cake was defeated like they say if you can’t beat them, eat them and i have to say myself it was really tasty.

If I was a man in the trenches I would think what am I doing here.  But also writing to my loved ones.  I think of trenches as a cold dark place with nowhere to go.  You can also hear you mates being shot and bombs being dropped.  Life in the trenches must have been very scary and life threatening.

Instruction to annoy the teacher

Yesterday we wrote instructions to how to annoy the teacher. Here are my instructions. We learned to write instructions in a list and start each idea with a bossy verb.

How to annoy the teacher

  • Wiggle on the spot with your knees.
  • Talk when the teacher is giving out information
  • Copy what the teacher says
  • Fiddle with a pencil on the mat when the teacher is talking.

My Kiwi Baseball Experience

My kiwi Baseball Experience

     

        A couple of weeks ago my class did some Kiwi Baseball we learnt how to catch, through and hit, hitting was my favorite I was able to hit the ball far away from the field.

         The first couple of weeks we did only catching and throwing the best part was when our couch named Ricky hit the ball so high that I mostly bumped into people because I was staring at the ball.

         Then one week we did some hitting we got 3 tries and and I was in for a surprise my teacher was looking for people who were good at hitting and I made the team.  My hits were far and so I made the team.  Learning how to play Kiwi Baseball was interesting and very exciting at the same time as learning.         

M&M Experiment

My M&M experiment

Last Tuesday my class was able to do an experiment on M M&M’s.  We had a see through cup and an M&M.   

         First we put the M&M in the see through cup filled with water.  We didn't see much going on until a couple of minutes later the colour started to fade, but the M on the M&M was still stuck on.  It was quite boring but interesting at the same time.

        Then when all of the colour evaporated it sank to the bottom of the cup my Tyre is that the food coloring was heavier than the water, but the same one thing stayed the same  the M it was some how still on?

          Later on the M on the M&M on most of my classmates started to float to the surface, but one question still remained with me.  How was the M on the M&M able to stay on that long but I wonder what will happen when it’s in mouths.
